Do I Qualify For Lemon Law Protection?


The California lemon law provides a way to get rid of your lemon if you have repeated problems.
It applies to all new vehicles purchased or leased for personal or small business use.

A used vehicle may also qualify if it was purchased or leased with a remaining portion of the manufacturer's original, new car warranty,California requires that a consumer allow the manufacturer a reasonable number of repair attempts. A "reasonable" number is four times; or two times if the problem is likely to cause death or serious injury; or if it was out of service for more than 30 days during the first 18 months or 18,000 miles, and the problem is still not fixed.


You do not need to first go through arbitration for us to file your California lemon law claim. So long as your vehicle has a substantial manufacturing defect and it first occurred within the new car warranty period, your vehicle may qualify as a lemon.
