Pontiac G6
Summary:
CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 208, 'OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION.' THE RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER SEATS IN THESE VEHICLES ARE BUILT WITH A PASSENGER AIR BAG SENSING SYSTEM. WHEN TESTED WITH A REPRESENTATIVE, UNRESTRAINED SIX YEAR OLD CHILD, THE SYSTEM IS REQUIRED TO TURN OFF THE RIGHT FRONT PASSENGER'S AIRBAG. INTERFERENCE DURING SYSTEM CALIBRATION CAUSED THE SEATS TO BE OUT OF SPECIFICATION. |
Consequence:
THIS CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY TO A CHILD SEAT OCCUPANT DURING CERTAIN CRASH CONDITIONS. |

Pontiac Montana SV6

ODI HAS RECEIVED REPORTS THAT THE POWER SLIDING DOORS OPENED WITHOUT COMMAND WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION ON MODEL YEAR 2005 THROUGH 2007 GENERAL MOTORS MINIVANS (CHEVROLET UPLANDER/VENTURE, PONTIAC MONTANA SV6/MONTANA, BUICK TERRAZA, AND SATURN RELAY). SOME REPORTS INDICATE THAT THE DOOR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN CLOSED AND LATCHED BEFORE DRIVING AWAY CAUSING THE DOOR TO REVERSE (OPEN) AT LOW VEHICLE SPEEDS. HOWEVER, OTHER REPORTS INDICATE THAT THE DOOR WAS INITIALLY SHUT THEN OPENED AFTER DRIVING FOR SEVERAL MINUTES AND/OR MILES AT VEHICLE SPEEDS BETWEEN 20 AND 70 MPH. ODI HAS OPENED AN ENGINEERING ANALYSIS TO FURTHER ASSESS THIS ISSUE. |

THIS CAN INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY TO A CHILD SEAT OCCUPANT DURING CERTAIN CRASH CONDITIONS. |

The National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators
and the Consumer Federation of America report
that consumer complaints related to used car sales
rank first, auto repair complaints rank third,
and complaints related to new car sales rank fourth.
In other words three of the top four consumer
complaints, and consumer fraud complaints, involve
cars.
Most states now have consumer protection laws, "lemon laws," pertaining to the purchase
or lease of new vehicles, and under certain circumstances
used vehicles. If your situation
qualifies the manufacturer must make good on any
vehicle which qualifies as a "lemon" which was purchased or leased for personal use,
or most business uses.
The California Lemon Law Attorneys of Delsack and Associates will fight for you. Call 1-888-EX-LEMON now and get started! We
