Dodge Viper Unintended Airbag Deployment

Chrysler has announced a recall for certain 2003-2004 Dodge Viper vehicles manufactured between November 01, 2001 to June 30, 2004. A problem with a capacitor in the airbag control module cause the front airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners to deploy while the vehicle is being operated. (more…)

Intermittent Shorting Affects Airbags In GM Vehicles

Occupant Classification Problems For Toyota Vehicles

Toyota is recalling certain 2009-2013 model vehicles because the occupant sensing system may not operate as intended. According to the recall report, vehicles with accessories such as leather seat covers, seat heaters or headrest DVD systems may not have had the passenger seat occupant sensing system calibrated during manufacturing. Lemon Alert For Volkswagen Occupant Seating

Volkswagen is recalling a small number of 2012-2013 VW Beetle vehicles, equipped with leather sport seats, because the front passenger seat air bag could inflate and injure a small child.
