General Motors will be recalling almost four thousand 2012 cars for a short that could develop in the airbag system. According to GM the drivers side airbag has a shorting bar which could intermittently contact the air bag terminals. If the situation should exist while the vehicle is in an accident, the airbag many not deploy properly, increasing the chance of injury to the driver. The vehicles involved this recall include:
