Another batch of Chrysler recalls will have certain Dodge, and Jeep SUVs returned to the dealership to repair engine cooling, airbags, and possible vehicle roll away problems. Toyota will be recalling approximately fifteen hundred 2007-2013 FJ Cruiser vehicles sold with Toyota’s auxiliary driving lamp kits mounted to the front bumper. These lights include two 55 watt bulbs which can be illuminated only with the vehicle’s upper headlamp beams, at the option of the driver. (more…)

General Motors have announced a recall for over 38,000 Chevrolet and Buick sedans equipped with its “eAssist” mild hybrid system. According to GM overheating of the circuit boards in the Generator Control Module (GCM) could result in loss of battery charge, the illumination of the engine malfunction indicator light, and in extreme cases, a fire in the trunk. Two trunk fires have already been reported as a result of the issue. (more…)

Honda is recalling certain 2012-2013 Honda Fit multi purpose vehicles (MPV) because they may fail to meet the requirements of the Federal Vehicle Motor Safety standards for electronic stability control (ESC). The ECS system of the affected vehicles may allow excessive yaw rates at steering angles with certain tires. (more…)

Nissan is recalling certain 2013 Infiniti JX and 2013 Nissan Pathfinder vehicles because the front brake torque member may have been improperly cast. During the front brake torque member casting process, molten iron overflow from one mold to the other partially filled the mold cavities and began to cool. (more…)
